I was given this oversized, grey, very ugly t-shirt, by my next host dad, because he works for the council over here in France, and likes to give away free council clothing to foreigners. I was actually really excited, because it gave me the oppurtunity to cut something up, without regrets:) I chopped the collar off, and cut a little V in the neckline for something interesting, then I slit the sides so I could tie them into knots to make the tee more fitted. And, of course, I rolled up the sleeves to hide the Conseil General logo. Its not high fashion, but at least its wearable. And it was a lot of fun. Gotta lobe DIY.
Hi! I must say that i just love your blog! Its fantastic! Double cool with knobs on, i say! hehe. I found your comment on Girlfiends page on Facebook. I love reading about your experiences in France. It sounds amazing, i hopw to one day visit France myself! =) Would you be able to tell me which company you are with on your exchange, as i want to travel to Canada for mine! ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the positive feedback.. you are obviously a vair cool person, as you quoted Angus, Thongs, and Full Frontal Snogging :) I'm on exchange with Rotary, and I know that they do placements in Canada, so go for it! You can try sending an application in now, but they are probably already over. Its best, if you send an application (talk to your local club or check out the youth exchange section of the rotary international website) in december/january, the year before you want to go. Then you should be asked for a club interview, and if that goes well, a regional interview. After that, they just have to find you a place and your good to go :)
